Write your book with people who get it
A friendly writing community on Skool, with step-by-step courses, real accountability and writers cheering you on. It's free to join, and the coffee is on you.
More than a writing group
Write Your Books is built for writers who need every step, not a pep talk and a leap of faith.
Step-by-step courses
Plain-language lessons in the Classroom that walk you from first idea to finished book. Every step comes with the why behind it.
Weekly accountability call
Show up, say what you're working on and leave with a plan. Nothing keeps a book moving like knowing someone will ask.
Social Media Boost
One thread where members follow, like, comment on and share each other's posts. Grow your author platform with friends.
Launch Pad
Releasing a book? Members help each other's launches, the friendly way and inside the platforms' rules.
Writing challenges
Join a challenge, write a little every day and check in with everyone else doing the same thing.
A place to share your services
Cover designer? Formatter? One promo thread gives every member a place to share what they offer.
Your own author page
Members can get their own page right here on writeyourbooks.com, with their bio, their books and where to buy them. Reach Published Author and you join our Hall of Fame too.
Show up, level up
On Skool, you earn points when other members like your posts and comments. Points move you up through the levels, and some levels unlock rewards.
So the more you share and cheer on other writers, the more you get back. Funny how that works.
Rewards along the way
- Level 4: a free Basic author page on this site
- Level 8 (Published Author): a Hall of Fame badge on your page and a spot on our Hall of Fame page
Start free. Move up when you're ready.
Every level includes the community. Each step up adds more help and a bigger author page.

Good to know
Is it really free to join?
Yes. The Free level costs nothing and includes the starter courses, the weekly call and the community. Upgrade only if and when you want more.
Do I have to use AI?
No. AI is optional. Everything is taught so your book stays in your own words, with or without AI tools.
Is it for fiction or nonfiction?
Both. The steps work for novels, memoir and nonfiction, for one book or a whole series.
I've never finished a book. Is that okay?
That's exactly who this is for. Bring your scattered ideas and half-started drafts. We'll take it one small step at a time.
Ready to start?
Join free. Say hello. Take the first small step. Your book has waited long enough.
